Album Review

An admirably succinct, 12-song distillation of their most popular cuts, including the massive hit "Green, Green," and the modest chart singles "Saturday Night," "Today," "This Land Is Your Land," and "Silly Ol' Summertime." The rest is mostly whiter-than-White cover versions of folk/pop staples like "Wimoweh," "Flowers on the Wall," and "Kisses Sweeter than Wine" that make the hit versions (by the Tokens, Statler Brothers, and Jimmie Rodgers respectively) sound authentically raucous in comparison.
