After two albums for Mercury that left his promise unfulfilled, David Lynn Jones
switched labels and recorded an album in his home studio in Bexar, AR. Like a saved man flirting with sin, Jones
forsakes Nashville wisdom and takes his cues from renegade American rockers like Leon Russell
and Robbie Robertson
. In his heart he's still country, but he revs the tempos, cranks the guitars, and lays on the horns as he takes off screaming into the Arkansas Delta.
