Another prolific session guitarist well respected by musicians but generally unknown to the listening public, Melvin Ragin aka Wah-Wah Watson has been on countless sessions. Born in Detroit circa 1951, Ragin/Watson has played with and/or contributed material to the recordings of Michael Jackson, Pharoah Sanders, Donald Byrd, Herbie Hancock, Billy Preston, and Evelyn King, among many others.
