Looking for AM 650?
There are many other ways to pick up the signal of AM 650. Some of these are quite simple, others need you to visit an electronics store.
We are on SHAW CABLE FM throughout the lower mainland at 91.3. What that means is if you are connected to Shaw Cable Television you can more than likely pick us up on your home stereo system. You will need a 3 way isolation splitter which can be bought at any electronics shop. You might need a few feet of cable to reach the back of your stereo, plus a device to hitch to that stereo FM cable attachment. Newer stereos of this decade have a direct cable connection. Then turn on your stereo to tuner and preselect us at 91.3 FM. You should also tell the stereo to memorize that spot and make it one of your favorites. This process does not work with Portable Radios or Ghetto Blasters.
All Time Favorites AM 650 is also on TELUS TELEVISION channel 697 in the Lower Mainland. This should simply come up on your TV screen with our call Letters CISL and directly through the television. You may already have your stereo connected to your television for audio. Otherwise, rewire to pick it up on your stereo system. AM 650 also broadcasts to other communities in B.C.and Alberta in places that offer Telus Television such as Whistler, Calgary and Edmonton. Check your TV screen for the local channel in your community (likely in the 600-700 or 800 range of the dial)
iPhone - The iPhone is connected to the internet thus you can use our streaming audio from our website to your Phone which has a speaker or you can get a headphone attachment. Check your iPhone applications for details. You can also download some of our shows and feature programming to your iPhone through this format to listen in your own time and leisure.
88.7 F.M. If you live within a few blocks of the Pacific Coliseum you might be able to hear us at 88.7 FM. This is a five watt repeater that we use for our Vancouver Giants Broadcasts inside the rink on Renfrew Street. If you are headed to the game, take your walkman and catch all the action at 88.7 FM.
iPod - Check with your local Apple Store for details on a link or attachment for this.
Oldies on the internet - If we are running a talk show or a hockey game and you are looking for music instead, we suggest our Hamilton, Ontario station CKOC. It is Canada's most listened to Oldies station with a great lineup of DJs. The website and streaming audio can be found here.
