Simply put, this is a super budget compilation assembled by Sony from the Southside Johnny & Asbury Jukes catalog, from when they signed the band back in the 1970s. There are a number of tracks written by Miami Steve Van Zandt (aka Little Steven and Sil from The Sopranos), including the terrific "Got to Be a Better Way Home," and "Some Things Just Don't Change." Also here are three tunes penned by Bruce Springsteen, including the closest thing to a hit single the Jukes every had in "Hearts of Stone." The rest are soul classics -- Solomon Burke's "Got to Get You off My Mind," Steve Cropper's brilliant "Broke Down Piece of a Man," among them. Read More
