Their one Geffen recording, The Dazz Band got poor material but excellent production on this late '80s album. Sadly, the wheels had come off for both large group funk and for them, and they were floundering trying to find a way to revamp their sound. It didn't work. ~ Ron Wynn, All Music Guide
