This 11-track collection highlights Kim Weston's tenure at Motown. Perhaps best known as one of Marvin Gaye's duet partners, Weston also had a few hits in the 1960s but never really took off the way some of her labelmates did. It is a bit of a surprise given her soulful, powerful voice and wholesome good looks. The disc contains two of her duets with Gaye, the classic "It Takes Two" and "What Good Am I Without You." Her biggest solo hit was the guaranteed dancefloor filler "Take Me in Your Arms (Rock Me for a Little While)." That track is here along with nine other solo works. Read More
